Bruce Wayne wakes up in the past, five months after Jason Todd died, and spends most days sat beside the grave because he never found out exactly when Jason had come back and he wanted to be there to save him when he did.
From an outside perspective, everyone is extremely concerned.

Okay hear me out.
Red Hood, Gotham's favorite crime lord, being called son by Brucie Wayne who is (for the first time by mistake) incredibly high and walking around Gotham like he doesn't know he's a high risk kidnappee.
The street might seem empty but Red Hood knows there's multiples eyes watching from the shadows, windows and any single space that can fit a person, he knows his Gotham well. And he knows it'd be impossible to silence so many witnesses of Gotham's Prince calling him his baby and whining "my jaylad please come home".
Of course next day social media is exploding with pictures of Red Hood carrying a happy looking Bruce Wayne on his shoulder to his bike, even a sequence of pictures before that showing how he went from looking pathetic and on the verge of tears to look like all his wishes were fulfilled next to a resigned looking criminal. #RedHoodIsJasonTodd? tag is trending on twitter #WayneIsBatmansEx alongside.

Idk what this is honestly
*After a Justice League meeting*
Green lantern: You know spooky with your army of children you must be quite the ladies man.
Bruce has decided to mess with Hal.
Batman: I gave birth to them lantern.
Green Lantern: I- what?
Batman: *deadpan* I. Gave. Birth. To. Them.
Green Lantern: But- I- you're a man.
Batman: I don't know how that is relevant to this conversation.
Batman: I must depart I have important business elsewhere.
Hal tells everyone, no one believes him.

Prompt idea:
Bruce is supposed to do a nude photo shoot to keep up his persona. His kids come up with increasingly convoluted ways to keep it postponed. Even Jason gets into it.
No thank you, they don’t want to bleach their eyeballs.

Do you think Bruce keeps track of all of the members of the batfamily by using the number system? Like when a family with 2+ kids, the parents keep track of their kids by just counting their heads. (1,2, 3,etc)
Like there's a Justice League meeting/briefing, and Bruce needs to bring basically all of the members of the batfamily to the watchtower to attend the meeting. And when they're all ready to leave. Bruce just does a mental headcount on everyone as they're leaving. (Yes, even the adults of the batfamily are included in the headcount) Batwoman, Azrael, and Batwing are not exempt from headcount just because they're adults. If they're a member of the batfamily, they are included in the headcount.
And when they all meet in the Batcave, Bruce does another head count just to make sure that he didn't leave any of the kids behind or that one of the kids stayed behind. Because one time Stephanie snuck away from the group and proceeded to superglue all of the cabinets in the cafeteria in the Watchtower shut because Green Lantern and her had a difference in opinion on which tv show was better.
The counting comes in handy when one day an extremely sleep deprived Bruce, that is running on nothing but coffee and two hours of sleep for the past week. When bringing all the batfamily members into the batcave, he realizes that the headcount is one more than there should be.

Another fic idea, a Timcentric one
Bruce was aware his neighbors the Drakes had a child, however he never paid any attention to them. That is until a local Gotham newspaper raises questions, asking the drakes why their son hadn’t been seen in public in four and a half years, why when school records were looked at, they showed he hadn’t attended in four years, the public raises questions ‘ where is Timothy Drake’, his parents deny deny deny, Batman and his birds realize something is wrong, Bruce realizes he should have paid more attention.
Tim has long since given up on the idea of rescue, ever since his parents sold him off to the highest bidder when he was ten.
Please let me know if anyone ends up using this prompt. I low key need someone to write based off this :):)

DC Prompt #1
In this au, Robin doesn't appear until after Batman and Superman have met each other.
And looking at how...bright Robin is there are 3 theories:
Batman is just some guy. He respects Superman and thus, adopted a kid that embodied his optimism
Batman isn't human and he just liked Superman so much he poofed Robin into existence.
Robin is made from a piece of Superman and Batman. In hopes of brightening Gotham or something???
Inspired by this thread.

The Perfect Family
Bruce discovered the show shortly after his parents died.
It was 12 seasons and had been filmed from the 1950s-60s. It was a classic sitcom about a man named Bruce (that’s how he’d discovered it) and his six children. Richard, Cassandra, Jason Peter, Timothy, Duke Marlon, and Damian Thomas.
Bruce spent years watching it to the point where he memorized every line and scene. Eventually, the line between this Bruce and him faded, him no longer being able to tell the difference.
He grew resentful, why should this Bruce have a family when he doesn’t? But of course, TV Bruce had gone out and found his family, Regular Bruce just needed to do the same. There had to be at least one child with one of those names in Gotham.
Other facts about this AU:
Their names are all super long so they can call each other names (Dick, Cass, Jason, Tim, Duke, Damian) not associated with Bruce and so their TV characters can be differentiated from them.
Six months passes every season and the kids are 15, 13, 12, 10, 8, and 4 in season 1. So by season 12 they are 21, 19, 18, 16, 14, and 10
Jason Peter was “killed off” in the season 6 finale for views, but he came back in the season 8 finale as he was a fan favorite character. Jason doesn’t talk about where Bruce sent him that year.
Cassandra had no lines in the show (we love misogyny) and was generally regarded as mute by the other characters, so Bruce made sure Cass wouldn’t talk. She keeps herself to sign language (and that’s only with her siblings) as he has threatened to cut her vocal cords if she talks.
Barbara and Stephanie are love interests for Richard and Timothy, but Dick/Babs and Steph/Tim are completely platonic. Steph and Babs are the least traumatized since while Bruce did grab them, they’re not on screen a lot so he mostly leaves them alone.
Alfred didn’t exist in the show so….. you can interpret that as you want.

Gotham is sentient. Gotham knows what is going on in. Gotham knows who is fighting for her.
So when the Batman proves himself of trying his very best nearly every night to protect his city, Gotham announces him her knight and shows him a vision. A vision of the future. Of who her next protector will be.
He calls himself the Red Hood. Not the same guy he had already fought, but someone who stands close to him. Who is not afraid to kill.
He is allowed one question.
"What is his name?"
"Jason Todd"
Maybe he can change things.
Not a name that strikes out. Nothing special. But he remembers it.
And then, one night, he meets a boy stealing his tires. He definitely knows how to defend himself, Bruce's bruised ribs are proof of that. But he doesn't have anyone.
So he puts him in Ma Gunn's school for boys. Maybe with some proper guidance he could become Gotham's protector without killing.
But the school turned out to be a crime scheme. Better to remove all variables and train the boy himself.
As the months go by, Jason feels save enough to put his walls down. To not play into the tough guy act anymore. He is positively overwhelmed because this boy is so sweet, so kind and nice and enthusiastic. So Bruce might be doing a good job apparently.
Until. Until the Garzonas case. Bruce has seen it. The man with the red helmet, the guns and the corpses and blood surrounding him. With the same eyes as his son. The knowledge of the future leads him to think that Jason HAS to have pushed Felipe.
Bruce blames himself, thinks he has wasted his time and resources. And it hurts because despite everything he has begun to love this boy. But he is just Batman, he can't change the future.
But then Jason dies. And that hurts more. Because now Jason never even has the chance to grow up to be Red Hood, doesn't have the chance to grow up at all. And he hates himself because sometimes he thinks about if this might be a good thing actually. He died as an innocent child. It's tragic, he deserved better. But maybe this is better than becoming a murderer and it is mercy.
Years later, Red Hood arrives in Gotham.
In front of him stands the man he saw in the future vision all those years ago.
Bruce reflects. If he had just left Jason alone when he first met him. But who knows if it would even have mattered? His biggest regret though is that he ever thought that a child dying might be something good.
After the debacle that was the Joker showdown, Jason multiplies his effort to help Gotham his way times ten. And that's when Gotham awards him with a vision, tells him that he is her paladin and tells him her rules, how he has one question open after seeing who her next protector will be.
Jason doesn't really care for the person in the vision, what happens in the future should stay in the future, because otherwise they were always doomed.
But then it strikes him. An idea. A terrible one but it seems logical. He has to word this carefully. "Has Batman known that I, Jason Todd, would become Red Hood?"
"Yes"
At their next encounter, Jason tells him how much of a savior complex he has. In reality, Jason is deeply hurt. Bruce treated him as someone that deserved to be cherished, to be loved. Treated him as someone valuable. But now he sees that Bruce had only ever seen him as broken, something to fix, someone doomed. Nothing more

DC Prompt | tim centric, time loop, temporary death, heavy angst
Tim sat in the Batcave, staring at the flickering screen. Files, surveillance footage, and notes all blurred together in his mind.
They were all pieces of the one case he couldn’t solve—his own murder.
He’s trapped in a time loop, slowly losing his mind as he tries to figure out what’s happening and who keeps killing him, over and over again.

Bruce should have an insane spice tolerance (you can't tell me he didn't eat like locals on his training years and he didn't train himself to after an embarrassing incident with his British food oriented taste buds getting incinerated).
Anyways, no one knows until someone tries to prank him and he doesn't react at all. This keeps repeating until he gets tired of getting his food altered and simply starts snacking on Carolina reapers publicly.
(The batkids/ JL questioning how fair is to still call him human when the prank backfires and talking to him makes their eyes and noses itch)

From what I could gather in the fics is that most of the batkids' favourite heroes is anyone other than Batman.
So, a little prompt.
The Batkids' Favourite heroes aren't Batman
To which Bruce is annoyed by it but got used to it over the years and just accepted it.
So it just came to a surprise to find a small child came up to him one day and said Batman was his favourite superhero and Bruce didn't think he could be so happy to hear that.
Little did he know that Children aren't afraid of Batman, especially in Gotham, so Batman is mostly the Children's favourite.

another Tim Drake centered fic, but with Kon included this time
‘ 10 year old Timothy Drake drowns during a family outing on the Drake Yacht’, is what the headline read. Poor Timmy Drake had wandered out of his parents sight and fell overboard after taking off his life jacket, his body never found, his parents devastated. The six year old newspaper is crushed in the fist that had held it, crumpled under the fury that radiated from the reader. Timothy Drake did not drown. He was sold by his parents when he was 10, and ended up in the clutches of CADMUS, where after years of torture he escaped after finding a new friend there. “ You alright Tim? Ready to head out?” Called the voice of another teen behind him. “ Im good Kon, and yeah I’m ready. Time to raise hell.”
Or Two teens bonded by their thirst for vengeance against those who tortured and wronged them, as well as having only one another to rely on become the worlds newest super villain team.
